Now, I am a very patient, good, and tolerant cat. Karen and Christine marvel at what a good sport I am when it comes time to give me yucky medicines and stinky flea goop. I am really really good! Sometimes I don't even bother waking up all the way.
But today is Halloween. So in addition to having a Disco Granny, Ladybug, Farmer, and other strange people lurking about, THIS happens:
I look fabulous. Be-witching, even! |
Of course, to get to that shot, we had to do this:
Trying to bathe! |
. . . and this:
Oh, now I have an audience. |
. . . and this:
Hrrrmph. |
I'm hoping they all got this out of their systems, but I'm pretty sure I heard the words "Santa Hat" muttered as they were leaving me to return to my pre-nap grooming. *sigh*
Later this evening the Ladybug and some other weirdos library staff are going to be passing out candy at the library and the museum for hundreds of trick-or-treaters. I will be snoozing in my office, away from all the scary stuff.
I hope all my critter and human friends have happy and safe Halloweens! (And I hope you had awesome National Cat Days, too.)
At least we celebrate *some* holidays around here,
Chance
