Teamwork Tuesday

In my library there is a nice big round window that overlooks the Fountain and the front of the building. This is where Angel Tober has been hanging out recently. It is also the window that my workers gaze out of when they are working the adult circulation desk and daydreaming monitoring the Outside.

Today there was a little tree frog in my window:

Naturally, I wanted to Eat him. Luckily for him, there was glass between the two of us, and he was up too high (on the second floor) for me to get to him and I couldn't talk anyone into getting the ladder out so I had to settle for window-shopping.

But he climbed high and I needed help to see:

So AAB Becki helped me. She gave me a Boost which is a very Important part of any Library worker's job description--Library Cat Booster.

But Becki's arms got tired. (This part I don't really understand, since I am a Picture of Feline Health and I am Maintaining a Healthy Weight. I think I will have to start the staff doing some weight training.) Then AAB Linda P. jumped in to assist Backi!!!!!

Linda P. is assisting Becki's weakening arms (maybe my muscles are heavy?), and that is why this post is Teamwork Tuesday.

(Shortly after this last photo was taken, I decided that I was bored and wanted a Temptations. So I jumped down.)

I hope the rest of the week is as exciting as this morning!

There is no "I" in Team (but there is one in Library Cat),

Tober

PS I am sorry Becki for thwapping you in the face with my Excited tail.

We're amazed at how well trained your staff is! Ours would never be that helpful. BTW, that frog sure looked tasty....

Hi Tober! You look so cute watching that frog - and wow we didn't know that there were tree frogs there in Indiana! We have never seen one - they must not come to Illinois!

And it is great that your AAB's did such a good job of boosting you up and helping each other - it is nice that they do that!

And we think you look just perfect in weight, so we think it must be a staff arm issue - we have that at our house with our mom too!

Tober, your Library is a Hub of Excitement! Mister Tree Frog is lucky he situated himself out of reach...we think he would have been very good to Eat.

Your Library Assistants are top notch quality, working in tandem and dodging your Tail to keep you amused. Our Daddy gives us boosts sometimes so we can Catch and Eat Moths (very tasty) on our Catio.

What an exciting morning! I don't believe I've ever met such a creature. And what a fabulous picture window you have-indeed, I'm a little envious although I quite enjoy the view from my Juliet balcony.

Libraries are interesting enough as it is (our human staff works at one, too) but having a cat and a frog around makes it that much better.

Awww Tober, your team are awesome helping you out looking for that frog.

You must be ready for a huge nap after that excitement.

Tober, you lead such an exciting life. It's too hot here to do anything but sleep on my back and hope for a breeze.

You really have your staff trained! Of course it is all due to your training them to do your bidding.
