Waiting

AB Karen has been very very busy these last few weeks.

Sometimes when she gets really busy she doesn't stay put, and sometimes I have to ask for her attention.

But that's hard to do when you're really short and don't have thumbs and get locked out of the room.

Since I am a Cat, I'm usually very good at waiting.  Sometimes AAB Becki has a Day Off, and that means I usually have to wait an extra 30-45 minutes to get my supper.  Sometimes AAB Christine is being dense, and I might have to wait half a day (and meow a LOT) to get my catnip sprinkled on my special catnip floorspot.  I have to wait for my AABs when we go upstairs together because they aren't lightning-fast on the stairs like I am.  But that's okay.

So I waited for AB Karen to get done doing whatever she was doing.

And I got treats and pettings for my patience.

Good things come to those who wait!

Hi dear Tober:

It was very nice to get TWO comments from you today. I think of you very often.

I am sorry people make you wait at your job in the library. That shouldn't be since you are the Boss, and should get taken care of right away. Just because we cats are good at waiting, doesn't mean that we should have to wait all the time!

I learned the other day that cats only meow to people, not other cats, did you know that? Do you believe that? I meow to my Mom all the time, but never Stella.

I am sending you face rubs and all my good wishes!

Tober, you could teach Binga a few lessons in patience - she will nag and nag and then she will cause trouble and then she will work on figuring out how to get whatever she wants without human help! I think she would make a very bad library cat - she does not understand all the duties that involved, not just by the cats, but also their human assistants.

Awww, you are one patient kitty Tober, not like us kitties who meow, scratch chairs, knock over things and demand attention! :)

Tober, I think you should get some catdoors installed, then you would not have to wait outside any office!!

My mum knows better, and doesn't close any door on me, except the bathroom door.

You are a very patient cat to wait like that, Tober. Mine are a little less patient, though they are always good at reminding me of things that concern them.

You are just the model of patience Tober! We are glad you got good stuff for being so patient!
