The Horrors!

Thanks everybody for the Happy Finding/Gotcha Day wishes! I'm super-excited that tomorrow is my Hire Date, and even super-duper-exciteder that I get to judge my Poster Contest tomorrow!

If you still have an entry you need to submit, you can email it to csterle at thorntown dot lib dot in dot us, and she'll be sure to print it out for the judging!

In my excitement about Finding Day and My Poster Contest and all of the extra treats and love that I get from everybody, I forgot.

I forgot that November is when the Little Orange Card of Doom shows up.

Yep, my invitation arrived in the mail.

I can't bear to look.

Strong, healthy, bright, alert, and responsive,

Tober

Oh Tober, I can see your look of disgust at the dreaded orange card! Not the most fun invitation. At least you have some exciting distractions :)

Aacck, we feel for you, Tober! We don't roam outside, so we don't get needles...except when they use a needle to steal our pee! *Shudder* Or stick needles in us to get us ready for dentals. *Double shudder*

We hope YOUR vet check goes well and is over and done with quickly!

Orange, huh! Adding insult to injury! Well, it's important to make sure you are healthy and strong...it makes your humans feel better too.

Be brave, Tober! Your super-tough mancatliness will be more than the V-E-T can handle.

Nooooooo! Three of us just had our white card show up. Fortunately, it was over in a flash ... or rather, in a jab.

I don't like those invitations either. At least you just get one a year. I get two! *sigh*

Oh NO, Tober, not the vet reminder card! I recently got a letter from the vet, too, reminding my humans to bring me in for a check-up. I don't understand why I have to go again so soon - it's only been 6 months!

At least our Vet uses a white post card with pictures of fluffy kitties and little puppies on it so it doesn't look like a get out of jail card.
Keep your sunny side up, Tober, and don't take any guff from anybody!

Purr, purr,

Your girl Ali Zophia
