Spam and paw massages!

Dear Friends,

First of all, a Terrible Awful Horrible Thing happened to my blog around Christmastime. I was looking at my blog posts one night (and marvelling at my brilliance) when I noticed that one of my older posts had 75 comments. At first I was really excited, but AAB Christine said "uh-oh Tober" and read the comments.

They were Awful Things!

I was comment-spammed.

I've had to turn on Comment Moderation for my blog, so now I get to see what you say before the rest of the world sees it. It kind of makes me sad, because I like it when I make a comment and I get to watch it magically appear! I imagine my Blogging Friends like that, too.

The whole incident was so stressful that I required a Paw Massage when all was said and done:

S'paw treatment!
If you will notice, I am quite relaxed at this point. My right paw is almost entirely Starfish-ed and my left paw is preparing to make a Starfish when the right paw is done. AAB managed to get nicely between each shapely toe to help me relax. Does anyone else get paw massages? I highly recommend them to Everycat!

Here is another picture. This picture was taken shortly after Christmas. Assistant Assistant Boss Britta was removing the Christmas-y things from the window of the Young Adult Room and I thought that this piece of fabric would make a nice backdrop for my stunning Furs.

Instant Library Display!
Of course, I was right.

I have Big Huge Gigantic Super-News to post later this week. I will try to encourage Assistant Assistant Boss Slowpoke (name changed to protect her identity) to help me post tomorrow! Actually. . . . you may already know!

The only decoration a Library needs,

Tober we are sorry you got spammed! That is why I do comment moderation - I have seen spam at a few of the blogs I visit. But I am glad you have relaxed now and got the wonderful paw massage. I don't think my kitties would like one because mostly they get mad if I touch their paws, but I think I will try anyway.

We have no idea what the surprise is so we hope you can post tomorrow - we will go crazy waiting if it is much longer then that!

You look very handsome and mancatly, posed there on the red quilt!

We have been lucky not to be comment spammed yet. Hopefully you won't have troubles with it again!

OH NO! You were comment spammed! I am so so so sorry about that. Sheesh, some nerve spammers have. I mean if they are going to leave spam on your blog, they need to leave a little real spam for you to taste! Sheesh!

Happy New Year Tober and Tober's staff. I like the idea of paw massage to make things right.

Tober, you're back!! I missed you!! We have all got spammed at some stage, so that is why just about all of us have to do the moderation.

Wonder what the big news is? Are you getting a brother or sister, or is it a book deal?

We're sorry that you were spammed Tober, but we're happy to see you back and happy that your paw massage made you feel better!

So sorry to hear about the comment spamming, so far we haven't gotten much of that and turning off 'anonymoous' comments seems to have stopped what little we had.

You look so very handsome on that red fabric, Tober. We hope they are leaving that out for you to use all year long! Enjoy more massages, you deserve them with your demanding library job.

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

Oh our Meowm rubs our paws all the time. We don't like it but we tolerate it for a few minutes for her.

That spam stuff is nasty. We really wish that stuff wouldn't happen to anyone!

We hope that nice fabric was left somewhere as a blanket for you. It shows off your furs so well!!!

We anxiously await your Big Huge Gigantic Super News!!

We're sorry to hear about the spamming. We wish that spam still meant meat treats, not bad stuff.

You look very relaxed after your paw massage and yes, that fabric compliments your fur so nicely!

Wishing you a very happy weekend,
Charlemagne and Tamar
