Forgiven

Today I have Forgiven the People-Counter Census Taker Mr. David. (I have left his last name off to protect his Identity from people and Cats who may still be Upset with him for putting me out.)

Why do I forgive Mr. David for his terrible offense against Librarycatdomhood?

Firstly, he was just trying to be nice and "reunite" me with my Enemy Oreo. This means he had honorable, if severely misguided, intentions.

Secondly, he was obviously unaware of my Bosshood of Thorntown Public Library. (I know, this one is a little far-fetched, but why else would he cast me out of the Library?)

Thirdly, he proved his Sorryness by bringing me a bribe an apology:

*nom nom nom*
Fourthly, Whiskas Temptations are some of my Most Favorite treats in the whole wide world! *nom nom nom*

So Mr. David, you are officially Forgiven. You will probably sleep lots better and have happier dreams.

Headbutts and stinky treat-breath,

Tober

Tober, we are glad that Mr. David's misunderstandings have been rectified and atoned for. Treats are an acceptable offering, we think.

Oh we totally can't forgive him - unless he sends us some temptations too! No, we are kidding. We believe he was trying to be nice and probably thought you were trapped inside. And the peace offering is great too.

But we still think the signs were a good idea!

Hello and nice to meet you!
I can't help melt at the sight of Temptations... that's the purrfect way to apologise isn't it?

Well, it was only right that Mr. David apologized appropriately.

Ah yes, that kind of bribe works well...it shows he has seen the error of his ways.

Mr. David can come to our house and let us out anytime if he brings us temptations as a forgiving treat!

Well, that's an effective bribe, if ever we saw one.

Tober, I am glad you are safe inside. I generally don't like treats, but Mom got me a bag that looks just like yours, and I like one every day (one treat, not one bag)!

You are much more forgiving than I am. I think he should be punished!!

You have a good heart, Tober. (And a full stomach) So we will forgive him too for his unforgivable offence.

Tober, thanks so much for your inspiring comment on my blog. Secretly, both Mom and Dad see my creativity as a plus. By the way, I am tired of those Temptation things already. I think I'll just stick to my Science Diet.

Tober, that was good of you to accept Mr. David's apology, and good of him to apologize in such a profound manner. Well done of him not to use just empty words! We went back and read of your horrible ordeal and are shuddering at what you went through. You poor poor dear!

We like going Outside occasionally, but only when carefully snoopervised, we stay near the house, and The Mommy must leave the door open so we can run back Inside if any noise startles us. It's safer that way...

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

Mr Tober Madi and I was horrified to ead that you had been put outside.
OMC our worst fear come true.
Thank goodness your friends inside realized you were missing. You were smart to hide in the bushes.
The signs are a very good idea,
Madi and Mom
